Patrick Whelan is a passionate and devoted artist and remains captivated by the magic of creation. His romantic art is the natural culmination of his long and gifted career. He began his career in 1989 as a commercial illustrator with clients that included: Random House, Bantam-Doubleday-Dell, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Tor Books, and A&E Television as well as innumerable others. In 1991 Patrick graduated with honors from the Laguna Beach College of Art and Design. In July of 2007, Patrick and his partner Bobby Jones, celebrated the Grand Opening of “Whelan Galleries”, located at 353 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA. 92651. Patrick’s works are in private collections across the United States and in Europe. |

 Hey, out of my way! Move it! Beep beep! He’s not just an employee, he’s our go to get r’ done, can I take care of that for you Shipping Manager Ron Anderson. That’s right, this month we look at our shipping and fulfillment department. If you need it packed, fulfilled, shrink wrapped, bubble wrapped, flat packed or just stamped with a label and shipped then he’s the guy to make it happen. Ron has been with Harvest for 3 ½ years. He’s that gentle giant we all know and love. So don’t make the mistake of jumping in front of his forklift because Ron’s on a mission and that mission is customer satisfaction. Give us a call and he’ll “Get R’ Done”. Way to go Big Guy! Keep up the great work.

Gossip | Paris gets Artsy

 Harvey Levin, TMZ’s gossip guru, received a personalized present from our favorite fauxlebrity jailbird Paris Hilton. Minutes before her release from Lynwood jail on June 26th, her lawyer slipped Harvey the below card, hand drawn and written by Hilton herself. Most bloggers on TMZ response is about the same and go something like this; “Oh, puh-leeze, I'm going to vomit. Paris and Harvey deserve each other.” However, contemporary art expert James Romberger, hired by TMZ to analyze Paris’ artwork, would argue differently. She’s quoted on TMZ as saying, “Paris’ line work demands a new genre. Poignant and unintentionally surreal, heavily-laden with encoded symbolism” Ummm… lets just say that point is still up for debate; but I think we can all agreed on one thing - those tiny hearts above each “I” were not done by any amateur.
